Fundraising Goal

We are striving to raise $50,000 in contributions to ACCION. In addition to the financial support, our promotional and pedagogical efforts will improve the effectiveness of microfinance throughout the world. Check here to see our updated fundraising total or here to see our calendar of events.

Fundraising Transparency

Recognized by Charity Navigator for organizational efficiency with a top 4-star rating, ACCION will manage all donations. ACCION, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is currently fundraising for training centers in Bangalore, India and Ghana, technology initiatives to lower administrative costs, and an InterAmerican Development Bank project for rural development. ACCION has successfully led microfinance institutions throughout the world in helping to reach millions of borrowers.

To complete our trip, we must raise $50,000. We are spending all of our savings to make this ride possible, but we still need food and campsites to make the trip happen. ACCION has agreed to support some of our costs, but no more than 20% of our fundraising total. If we are successful, this proportion will be much lower.
